Job description

 Our client is seeking an experienced Local Law 11/FISP Engineer to join their team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facade inspection and repair, with a deep understanding of NYC building codes and regulations.Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Local Law 11/FISP Engineer in New York City
  • Bachelor's degree Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State asset but not required
  • Thorough knowledge of NYC Building Code, specifically Local Law 11 and Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) requirements
  • Experience with facade inspection, assessment, and repair techniques
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive facade inspections in accordance with Local Law 11/FISP guidelines
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and develop repair recommendations
  • Collaborate with building owners, managers, and contractors to implement necessary repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant NYC building codes and regulations
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines and quality standards
