Job description

Position: Microsoft Infrastructure & Applications Engineer (Law Firm or Professional Services Experience)

Location: Washington, DC (remote or onsite)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday  

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $80K - $100K+

Benefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

About The Company: Our client is a nationally recognized law firm seeking a Microsoft Infrastructure & Applications Engineer (Systems Engineer) to support and enhance its cloud, identity, automation, and business application environments.

About The Role: This role is ideal for someone who combines Microsoft infrastructure expertise with application and process improvement skills. You'll work across Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, Power Platform, and internal business applications to build secure, scalable solutions that improve the firm's operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional services or law firm environment.

  • Key Technologies: Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, PowerShell, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and automate Active Directory and Entra ID environments
  • Support and enhance Microsoft Azure services and integrations
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions
  • Build and maintain applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Develop and support internal web applications and system integrations
  • Manage API connections, authentication, and cloud-based integrations
  • Support SQL databases, reporting, and data integrations
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and identity-related issues
  • Maintain technical documentation and system standards

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment required
  • Strong experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Experience supporting API integrations and identity management solutions
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
