Job description

EnCircle's newly established grant-funded program within the Immigration and Refugee Services division delivers specialized therapeutic and supportive services to migrant children striving to integrate and thrive within the Richmond area. The program supports children who have experienced significant trauma and are navigating the challenges of displacement, migration, and cultural adjustment.
The part-time Bilingual Clinician is responsible for delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive clinical services, including individual therapy, assessments, treatment planning, and crisis support. The clinician collaborates with program staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care that meets agency and regulatory standards. Referrals for children in need of clinical services will come from other programs in enCircle and community partners, and services will be provided both in person at enCircle's Richmond office and through telehealth.
This position functions with moderate supervision and adheres to agency, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary starting at $25 an hour for license-eligible and $35 an hour for licensed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, REQUIREMENTS AND PREREQUISITES

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or other behavioral science field LPC or license-eligible in Virginia OR Master's degree in Social Work LCSW or license-eligible in Virginia.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Experience working with immigrant, refugee, or trauma-affected populations preferred.
  • Trauma-informed care training or experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively.
  • Proficient in using computers for documentation and telehealth delivery if needed.
  • Valid Driver's License, automobile insurance, and clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of background checks, including child protection agency registries.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including some evenings.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to migrant children, including individual therapy tailored to trauma recovery and emotional adjustment.
  • Conduct and document required clinical assessments, such as psychosocial evaluations, trauma screenings, and risk assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and therapeutic goals; regularly monitor and document progress to inform both clinical care and grant reporting requirements through accurate and timely data collection.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share clinical insights and support coordinated care.
  • Offer psychoeducation and clinical consultation to staff members from partner entities as well as caregivers involved in the youth's care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency policies.
  • Respond to mental health crises with appropriate interventions and referrals as needed.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality regulations, and professional ethical standards.
