Roles & Responsibilities

Emergency Response

  • Respond to water, fire, smoke, and mold damage emergencies.
  • Perform property inspections to determine the scope of damage.
  • Develop an action plan for mitigation and restoration.

Project Leadership

  • Lead and supervise restoration technicians on job sites.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Train and mentor new technicians.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and industry best practices.

Water Mitigation

  • Extract standing water using specialized equipment.
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
  • Perform daily moisture mapping and documentation.
  • Remove non-salvageable materials when necessary.

Fire & Smoke Restoration

  • Perform emergency board-up and tarping services.
  • Clean soot and smoke residue from structural surfaces and contents.
  • Deploy odor control methods, including thermal fogging, ozone, and hydroxyl treatments.
  • Pack out, inventory, and protect customer contents.

Equipment & Vehicle Management

  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and restoration equipment.
  • Ensure trucks are fully stocked and organized.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report damaged equipment.
  • Track equipment assigned to each job site.

Documentation

  • Document all work performed using restoration software (such as Encircle).
  • Take before, during, and after photographs.
  • Record moisture readings and equipment logs.
  • Maintain accurate job notes and communicate progress to the office.

Customer Service

  • Explain the restoration process to homeowners and commercial clients.
  • Answer customer questions professionally and compassionately.
