Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid โ€“ 3 days/week onsite)

 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong technology background to lead strategic initiatives for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will have over 10+ years of IT experience, extensive expertise in program management, and a solid technical foundation in .NET along with a good understanding of AWS. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to deliver complex, enterprise-scale programs.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple technology programs within the banking domain from initiation through delivery.
  • Develop program roadmaps, project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery milestones.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Drive stakeholder communication and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure successful execution of .NET-based applications and cloud initiatives.
  • Support modernization and cloud transformation initiatives leveraging AWS services.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, quality, and risk management standards.
  • Monitor program performance using KPIs and recommend process improvements to enhance delivery.

 Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager delivering large-scale technology programs.
  • Strong experience managing projects within the Banking or Financial Services domain.
  • Mandatory technical background in Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Good understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-based application delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with cloud migration or digital transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and SDLC best practices.
