What You'll Do

As a BDC Sales Agent, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping generate appointments, increase showroom traffic, and support dealership growth.

Customer Communication

  • Answer inbound phone calls, internet leads, text messages, and live chat inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Build rapport with customers while identifying their vehicle needs and interests
  • Provide accurate information regarding inventory, pricing, promotions, and dealership services
  • Deliver an exceptional first impression with every customer interaction

Lead Management & Appointment Setting

  • Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team
  • Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and unsold customers
  • Re-engage customers who missed appointments or have become inactive
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Consultants to maximize appointment show rates and sales opportunities
  • Maintain consistent communication throughout the customer's buying journey

CRM & Administrative Support

  • Accurately document all customer interactions in the dealership CRM
  • Track lead activity, follow-up schedules, appointments, and outcomes
  • Ensure customer information remains accurate and up to date
  • Assist with reporting and lead management activities as assigned

Customer Retention

  • Conduct post-visit follow-up calls and emails
  • Encourage repeat business and customer referrals
  • Promote dealership events, incentives, and special offers
  • Help create lifelong customer relationships through exceptional service

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service, call center, BDC, retail sales, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Automotive dealership experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience using CRM software preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including Saturdays
  • Valid driver's license preferred
