This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with the team and clients. Our standard workweek runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced professional life. The remote structure is designed to support productivity while enabling our counselors to engage with clients in their preferred environments.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments: Evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of elderly clients, formulating tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Provide individualized and group counseling: Facilitate therapy sessions that address the unique emotional challenges faced by seniors, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
• Educate caregivers and families: Develop resources and training for staff and family members to enhance emotional support for clients, promoting strategies that improve overall quality of life.
• Offer grief and loss counseling: Support clients and their families through difficult end-of-life issues, utilizing therapeutic techniques to help navigate the grieving process.

The focus of this role is primarily on elderly clients experiencing emotional difficulties related to aging, loss, and transitional life events. Candidates should be sensitive to the unique challenges faced by seniors, employing empathy and professionalism in every interaction. Your work will contribute to improving the mental health outcomes for this vulnerable population, helping them to achieve greater emotional resilience.

• Educational Background: A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Clinical Internship: Candidates must have successfully completed a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting, ensuring readiness for real-world applications.
• Licensure: Must be license-eligible in the state of Florida and able to obtain LMHC status.
• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license in good standing is required, as periodic visits to clients may be necessary.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and their families quickly and effectively.
• Empathy and Listening Skills: A natural ability to listen and provide empathetic guidance while fostering an environment of trust.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical documentation and assessment records.

• Experience in mental health counseling with a focus on the elderly population is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities specifically beneficial for seniors, such as CBT or grief counseling techniques.
• Previous work within a collaborative healthcare setting, emphasizing multi-disciplinary teamwork.

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a generous sign-on bonus to successful candidates.
