JOB SUMMARY:

The Utah Mammoth are seeking a motivated Email Coordinator to support the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns across email and potentially SMS (text messaging) channels. This is a full-time position based in Sandy Utah.

This role owns the day-to-day building, testing, and deployment of email and SMS campaigns - including gamedays, offers, newsletters, sponsor fulfillment, audience-growth initiatives, and other operational communications. The Email Coordinator manages the email marketing calendar, keeps campaigns moving on time and on strategy, and helps report on performance so the team can continuously improve.

This position works cross-functionally across the organization, using email, potentially SMS, and push notifications to accomplish key objectives, and supports marketing execution across web, social, print, and in-venue channels as needed. The role also provides exposure to modern marketing tools, including email marketing platforms, project management systems, and approved AI tools that support research, first-draft copy, content versioning, and marketing workflow efficiency.

The ideal candidate pays strong attention to detail, is an excellent communicator, is dependable, and is a creative problem-solver who thrives on owning deployments from intake through delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, test, and execute email marketing campaigns for gamedays, offers, newsletters, and other operational communications.
  • Potentially engage fans through SMS marketing campaigns using approved SMS marketing software.
  • Manage the email marketing calendar, coordinating timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Assist with reporting on campaign metrics - including open rates, click rates, and revenue generation - and use those insights to improve performance.
  • Collaborate across organizational departments, using email, SMS, and push notifications to accomplish key objectives.
  • Track sponsor fulfillment, including asset inclusion, reporting, and communication.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns focused on audience growth across the email and SMS spaces.
  • Write, edit, and organize email and SMS copy, build campaign briefs, and assist with campaign setup.
  • Support marketing execution across web, social, print, and in-venue channels as needed.
  • Responsibly use approved marketing and AI tools to support research, first-draft copy, content versioning, and workflow efficiency.
  • Provide marketing support to ticketing, corporate partnerships, game presentation, community relations, public relations, and other internal departments as needed.
  • Complete email and SMS deployments regardless of day. This will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Protect the reputation of the company.
  • Exemplify the Utah Mammoth mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Dependable & Follow-Through - Takes ownership of deployments and ensures campaigns go out accurately and on time, regardless of the day.

  • Communication - Communicates clearly, professionally, and consistently with teammates and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative - Builds partnerships and works across departments to meet shared objectives.
  • Project Management - Organizes tasks, calendars, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple projects at once.
  • Creative Problem-Solving - Approaches challenges with creativity and finds practical, fan-focused solutions.
  • Data-Informed - Comfortable reading campaign metrics and using them to make smarter decisions.
  • Action-Oriented - Takes on new opportunities and challenges with urgency, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Curiosity with New Tools - Willing to learn and responsibly use new marketing, AI, and technology tools to improve workflows and outcomes.
