Job description

Fayette County Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced administrator for the position of Elementary School Assistant Principal at Oakland Elementary School. This individual should be an educator with experience and certification as a teacher and administrator.

The job of the Elementary School Assistant Principal was established for the purpose of assisting the principal to perform administrative duties including providing support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for directing overall site operations, services, and staff; providing information and serving as a resource to others; enforcing established policies and regulatory requirements; coordinating school activities and addressing issues, situations and/or problems that arise on campus or with enrolled students.

The position is a 10.5-month position and includes administration of the campus. The position requires a teaching and administrator's license.

Attendance is an essential function of the job.
