As one of the Southwest’s largest construction management firms, we also provide project controls (scheduling/cost estimating), right of way (appraisals, acquisition and relocation services) and land surveying services. Consultant Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking resumes from qualified students for intern positions as well as EIT's with experience to assist staff with engineering projects as needed. This is a great opportunity to get into the field in transportation/WWTP/Aviation civil construction projects and advance and grow in one of the most reputable and well known CM firms in the Southwest. The essential functions and responsibilities will be to perform a variety of elementary engineering tasks and advance upward in inspection and oversight. This position will work under close supervision and receive specific and detailed instructions as to required tasks and results expected and led into higher level responsibilities as they progress.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have BSCE degree or pursuing a degree in civil engineering or related field or be a graduate with or without EIT status

Detail oriented, team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment

Strong math skills

Good communication and people skills

Enjoys field work and excitement of construction activities related to civil engineering like highway/bridge, municipal roads and utilities, airport and light rail.

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Position Responsibilities:

Perform routine aspects of civil engineering under close supervision

Assist in the coordination of projects

Provide support to staff members as needed

Documentation of construction activities, daily reports and photos

Willingness to certify in ACI, ATTI, ATSSA, ECC, SWPPP
