An electronic field service engineer does on-site maintenance and repair of equipment in a variety of industries, from manufacturing to utilities to medical science. In any industry, your responsibilities in this career often include routine tasks that ensure the smooth operation of a business's utilities. Your day-to-day duties involve diagnosing issues at the location. You then troubleshoot the problem and find a solution. You test existing installations and make adjustments as necessary to optimize their use. As an electronic field service engineer, your work environment varies with the position and type of projects.

What does an electronic field service engineer do?

An Electronic Field Service Engineer installs, maintains, and repairs electronic equipment and systems at client sites.
