D2B Groups is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Sales Engineer to join their client's dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and sales support for new construction projects, focusing on delivering effective solutions to meet customer requirements. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to understand their needs and provide innovative products that align with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new construction opportunities, effectively articulating the technical advantages of our product offerings.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and understand project requirements.
  • Prepare technical proposals and presentations, incorporating product specifications to meet customer needs.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely project execution, addressing any technical challenges that may arise.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Provide training and support to customers and partners on product specifications and installation procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to enhance product knowledge and sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales within the construction, hvac, facilities, or building materials industry
  • Experience selling with GCs and ECs is required
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial construction processes and products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Proficient in preparing technical documents and proposals
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and design documents
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as needed
