Work Arrangement
Onsite role at the Tampa, FL Office with potential travel to testing sites as needed. Periods of development may require long irregular hours around deadlines, weekends, and some holidays and in-field test environments.

Job Overview
As an Electrical engineering manager within AEVEX Aerospace, you will be responsible for the supervision, development and tasking of a group of engineers who share your specific discipline. Managers are also valuable contributors to project goals within their discipline. Working across projects, managers ensure that the right engineers are solving the right problems for specific programs and projects. Managers need to be experts in their field and have a passion for the hiring and development of engineers at all levels within their careers. This includes mentoring, training, and assignments, as well as performance reviews and career advancement.

Essential Functions
• Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• Supervise and manage assignments and career development of assigned staff.
• Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
• Oversees and contributes to project logistics and resource allocation.
• Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.
• Secures the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments.
• Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.
• Attends trade shows and conferences and makes site visits to suppliers' facilities.
• Advocates on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success.

Experience
• 10+ years of experience in Electrical engineering or other related discipline.
• 4+ years of leadership or management experience in a technical role.
• Experience using SOLIDWORKS computer-aided design (CAD) platforms or equivalent
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA software tools
• Experience using Altium, P-Spice, and other design tools
• Experience with Data Analytics
