Electrical Service Manager 

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our service operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in project management, electrical design, and construction management. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating projects, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage service teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Oversee project scheduling and ensure timely completion of all service projects.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to optimize efficiency.
  • Design systems in accordance with NEC standards and client specifications.
  • Review contracts and ensure all terms are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize schematics to guide installation and maintenance processes effectively.
  • Monitor time management practices within the team to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in electrical engineering and construction management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience
  • Experience managing people and processes
  • Must have 8 years of electrical experience, preferred Commercial
  • Licensed Electrician is a plus, but not required
  • Assist with scheduling, invoicing, and budget management
  • Maintaining and building vendor relationships 
  • Maintaining/managing reports
  • Proven experience in project scheduling, project management, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and electrical engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with construction management practices and NEC regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications in project management or electrical engineering are a plus.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all operations.
