Job Description Electrical Engineer Position Summary: Electrical Engineer contributes to the design, development, and inspection of electrical equipment, components, or systems. Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. Electrical Engineer works directly with more senior engineers to develop new designs and solutions with limited direction.

Will gain exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Electrical Engineers have duties and responsibilities that focus on safety, sustainable design and quality assurance. They design, develop electrical systems documents.

Electrical Engineers provide support for electrical work in the manufacturing, and construction industries. Their duties and responsibilities include: Produce and check complex 3D design drawings for high technology facilities in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications, and procedures. Client interaction including presentations at various stages of the project.

Responsible for coordination and multidiscipline clash checking including the resolving of issues using Navisworks. Site surveys of existing services to ascertain "As built" conditions. Ability to arrange electrical equipment on plan drawings and create single-line diagrams.

Capable of sizing feeders and OCPD. Inspect electrical components during and after the electrical system installation. Education/Experience: BS in Electrical Engineering and one to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
