Electrical Engineer, Orlando, FL
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the team. Successful Electrical Engineer will have 6-10+ of experience in Electrical Design/Engineering of electrical building systems and preparing detailed electrical engineering drawings and calculations. You will be responsible for the design of electrical systems from schematics through construction administration on a wide range of building types including Commercial, Public Sector, Residential, and Municipal. This position is 100% Onsite and not open for Remote.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing complex electrical systems and products, using cutting-edge software such as REVIT.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet the project requirements and are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Conducting thorough analyses of new and existing electrical systems, identifying potential improvements and implementing changes where necessary.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and commissioning procedures.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the field of electrical engineering and power generation and using this knowledge to drive innovation within the company.
Electrical Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET Accredited College or University.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
- Proficient in Revit Software and AutoCAD.
- Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
- Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
- Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
- Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) or other green rating system process is preferred.
- Experience and interest in sustainable building design is preferred.
