Description:
EM is looking for candidates with an Electrical Engineering background. This CW will likely be working a part-time schedule, schedule can vary from week to week.
The site is University of FL in Gainesville where the boilers will ultimately be built, however, most contract workers are supporting the project from Crystal River on a hybrid schedule.
Perform discipline specific engineering review during design phase of the University of Florida Auxiliary Boilers Project. Act as Owner"s Engineer during project lifecycle through project closure. Support review of specifications, drawings, manuals, etc. required for detailed design and procurement of the facility. Support bid specification and bid event reviews. Owner"s Review scope for discipline engineering being performed by Architect/Engineer firm. Support Requests for Information and other standard engineering process reviews. Support constructability reviews as required for discipline engineering. Support field RFIs through construction through the Architect/Engineer.
Workers at this level solve complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with limited supervision. Workers are required to have experience with new power plant Engineering and Construction. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is increasingly complex and varied.
