Job description

Job Title: Electronics Repair Manufacturing Engineer / Test Systems Integration Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Manufacturing Engineer / Test Systems Integration Consultant to support an industrial electronics repair operation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronics repair, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, and industrial test fixtures. This role will focus on troubleshooting industrial electronic assemblies, designing test equipment, improving repair processes, and increasing manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair PCBAs, power electronics, VFDs, and industrial electronic assemblies.
  • Design, build, and validate industrial test fixtures and electronic test equipment.
  • Develop and improve repair, testing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Optimize production workflows using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and manufacturing transfers.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve quality, throughput, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in electronics repair, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial electronics.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with PCBAs, power electronics, industrial control systems, and motor drives.
  • Experience designing industrial test fixtures and test equipment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
