Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Technician to support electrical testing, lab setup, and hardware validation activities for Infotainment, Connectivity, Zonal, and Battery Management System (BMS) ECUs. The technician will assist engineering teams with wiring, instrumentation, test execution, and troubleshooting activities in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support lab setup activities including bench preparation, wiring, harness setup, and instrumentation configuration.
  • Assist in execution of electrical tests for Infotainment, Connectivity, Zonal, and BMS ECUs.
  • Perform hardware setup, validation support, and electrical measurements during testing activities.
  • Operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, DAQs, and signal generators.
  • Assist engineers with data collection, test monitoring, and documentation of test results.
  • Support troubleshooting and debugging of electrical and hardware-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain test benches, cables, connectors, and validation hardware.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of lab equipment and test components.
  • Follow electrical safety procedures and lab standards during all testing activities.
  • Collaborate with validation, hardware, and systems engineering teams to support project activities.
Required Skills
  • Experience with electrical lab setup and wiring activities.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Basic understanding of automotive ECUs and embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN is a plus.
