This role is designed for an early-career professional who will work under the direction of Project Managers (PMs) and Technical Leads to support due diligence and regulatory compliance efforts. • Support preparation of Phase I ESA, Limited Compliance Reviews (LCRs), and desktop due diligence reports by drafting assigned sections.
  • Assist with ordering environmental database (EDR) reports and submitting FOIA requests under supervision.
  • Conduct Phase I ESA site visits for small, non-complex properties (initial visits performed with a Technical Lead or PM).

Regulatory Compliance Support
  • Develop a foundational understanding of federal (e.g., USEPA, OSHA) and applicable state EHS regulations.
  • Assist in drafting technical compliance documents under the direction of a PM or Technical Lead.
  • Provide limited on-site compliance support to clients, with direct oversight.
  • Support collection and documentation of compliance data and assist in communicating with site personnel regarding compliance matters.
  • Support waste management compliance efforts internally and externally

Fieldwork & Site Support
  • Travel to client sites up to approximately 50% of the year.
  • Arrive at field locations prepared with required PPE, equipment (e.g., laptop/iPad), and documentation.
  • Document site conditions through detailed notes, checklists, and photographs.
  • Support field activities in alignment with project scope and direction from technical leadership.

Health, Safety & Operational Compliance
  • Comply with all EHS Support and client-specific environmental, health, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in and complete Site Safety Risk Assessments prior to field activities.
  • Schedule and track field events in company systems (e.g., Airtable) and complete required check-ins.

Communication & Team Collaboration
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactively communicate task progress, risks, and issues to project teams.
  • Collaborate primarily with internal project teams, with opportunities for client interaction during fieldwork and interviews.
  • Support positive client relationships through responsiveness and professionalism.

Client Support & Business Development
  • Build an understanding of client needs and support timely responses.
  • Assist with client relationship management activities, including weekly progress check-ins with Client Managers.
  • Support development of marketing or business development content (e.g., service descriptions, client alerts) under supervision.
  • Develop familiarity with company service lines and consulting capabilities.

Professional Development
  • Gain knowledge of company processes, systems, and service offerings.
  • Develop awareness of project scheduling, budgeting, and resourcing.
  • Participate in training and mentoring to build technical and consulting competencies.
