Job Summary:
IXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company, seeking Senior Software Engineers to enhance their educational products. The role involves developing new features and innovative products that impact millions of learners.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code base
โ€ข Build the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our products
โ€ข Drive the development process for your team, including design, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
โ€ข Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementations
โ€ข Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing products
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 6+ years of experience in software engineering
โ€ข Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
โ€ข Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language
โ€ข Strong communication skills
