About the role

Coordinate and manage EDI-related developments; analyze and design specifications used for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces, and mappings. Our ideal candidate must be an experienced professional with technical background, who thrives working with employees at all levels of the company supporting accurate, proper data exchanges within the organization as well as collaborating with vendor partners to ensure a smooth EDI experience. Must be goal-oriented and thrive in an environment of autonomy and accountability. The position is fully in-office, M-F.

What you'll do
  • Proficient in EDI transaction codes
  • Coordinate files, data import and exports to meet EDI requirements.
  • Manage correspondence between various partners involved in the integration process.
  • Train team members on day-to-day EDI tasks
  • Analyze current business practices from an external standpoint, consider the best methods to import and export relevant EDI data.
  • Collaborate with internal staff to assess business intelligence needs, expectations, and requirements Partner with outside vendors to resolve EDI problems or issues, as well as access products and service capabilities.
  • Keep management informed of project status and any related issues.
  • Knowledge of EDI & Cataloguing Workflows
  • Ability to hold a professional conversation and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple, simultaneous tasks efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines while demonstrating initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Design and maintain EDI maps to ensure compliance to all business requirements.
  • Analyze all EDI implementations and recommend improvements to processes, coordinating with trading partners to resolve all issues effectively.
  • Support all EDI production processes, developing and modifying all maps for trading partners as well as coordinating with end-users to expand the business.
  • Perform various tests, preparing and maintaining test data on all EDI maps.
  • Interface with other departments including Accounting, Warehouse & Order Management
  • Administer and troubleshoot our newly integrated NetSuite ERP system.
  • Occasionally troubleshoot and/or advise on various IT issues, including our proprietary inventory managing system.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience with Electronic Data Interfaces
  • 3+ years’ experience with ERP systems, preferably with Sage X3
  • Must possess an in-depth knowledge of X12 standards and the ability to translate business and technical specifications.
  • EDI trading relationships using VAN and AS2, SPS commerce connections.
  • BA or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases design and development
  • Experience in consumer products a PLUS
  • Mental flexibility; able to pivot within a “start‑up” culture.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels
  • Strong communication, presentation, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS office applications and must have strong excel skills
