Job description

The Team

The Senior Client Insights Analyst plays a vital role in the firm's Pricing & Client Insights team, focusing on client portfolio and legal matter analytics and reporting. This includes developing dashboards and data visualizations for stakeholders across the firm. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Client Insights, this role is part of the broader Client Insights & Client Matter Intake function and can be based in any Canadian office.

You will be focusing on:

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze client/matter data to prepare reports and presentations
  • Conduct periodic and ad hoc client portfolio and matter performance analyses
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Finance, Business Planning & Analysis, and Pursuits teams to provide accurate and timely reporting
  • Support the development of best practices for client insights
  • Assist in assessing client insights processes and identifying improvements to enhance satisfaction and profitability
  • Research and manipulate client insights data to assess key metrics and trends
  • Ensure accuracy across various data sources
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including tool implementation and report development
  • Prepare and distribute monthly client insights reports for stakeholders
  • Prioritize tasks and resolve issues efficiently
  • Engage with external clients when needed
  • Support price benchmarking initiatives
  • Assist with special projects as required

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a quantitative field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Data Science)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and data management skills
  • Familiarity with change management and process improvement
  • Client service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective research and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently using sound judgment
  • Results-driven with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, and/or Business Objects
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI)
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset

The salary bands provided reflect the typical range for this role in the region indicated. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of experiences and skills, and final compensation will be thoughtfully determined based on individual qualifications and current market factors.
