The Early Childhood Education Center Director leads and inspires our dedicated team to provide an exceptional learning environment for young children. This pivotal role shapes the future of our center, ensuring high-quality educational programs, fostering a nurturing community, and driving operational excellence. You champion child development, engage families, and uphold our commitment to educational innovation and safety.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Director provides visionary leadership for all center operations, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Leads and manages all staff, including hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating performance, providing clear work direction and fostering professional growth.
  • Oversees and guides the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring alignment with best practices in Early Childhood Education and Child Development.
  • Manages daily Program Management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and facility maintenance.
  • Develops and monitors the center's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensures full Regulatory Compliance with all local, state, and federal licensing standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with families through effective Parent Communication, fostering a collaborative partnership in children's development.
  • Drives Strategic Planning initiatives, identifying opportunities for program enhancement and center growth.
  • Cultivates a positive and collaborative culture, empowering staff through effective Team Leadership.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education Administration, or a related field.
Experience
  • Possesses significant Childcare Management Experience, demonstrating successful leadership in an early childhood setting.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record in Staff Management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Applies expertise in Curriculum Development and implementation.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Exhibits deep knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles and Child Development theories.
  • Understands and applies best practices in Program Management and center operations.
  • Manages financial resources effectively, demonstrating proficiency in Budget Management.
  • Navigates and ensures adherence to Regulatory Compliance standards.
