Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire a Co-Teaching Special Education Teacher for a co-taught campus for next school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with general education teachers in a co-teaching model to deliver differentiated lessons

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students in the co-taught general education setting

  • Monitor student progress and facilitate collaborative problem-solving with the school's student support team

Qualifications:

  • California Education Specialist Credential – Mild/Moderate

  • Experience in a co-teaching or push-in support model

  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and collaborative planning skills
