School Counselor
Adult Education


General Statement of Duties:
Works under the supervision of the School Principal to provide counseling to students.
Qualifications: 
Position requires appropriate Connecticut Certification/068 School Counselor
Experience and ability to work with a diverse, multilingual and multicultural population
excellent communication skills
Possess thorough knowledge of present practices and current trends in guidance and counseling
Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Salary & Benefits: $36.00 per hour. ($38.00/hr eff 7/1/26). This is a non-contracted, part-time position offering no benefits.
Note: This is a grant funded position that only exists as long as funds are available.
