Job description

Key Responsibilities

As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys throughout the entire lifecycle of a case-from initial intake through resolution. This position offers hands-on involvement in substantive legal work and meaningful client interaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering compassionate, professional, and responsive support

  • Manage and maintain electronic case files and document management systems

  • Draft and assist with a wide range of legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, discovery responses, memoranda, and affidavits

  • Proofread, finalize, and prepare documents for filing and service

  • Maintain attorneys' calendars, including court appearances, deadlines, and case milestones

  • Prepare notices, coordinate and schedule depositions, and prepare and serve subpoenas

  • Obtain and organize medical records from healthcare providers

  • Collect and track healthcare lien information

  • Assist attorneys with fact investigation and case development


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Prior experience supporting litigation matters

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff-side or defense)

  • Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related legal software

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, particularly in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
