Job Summary


Perform a variety of paying and receiving clerical duties involved in custody of cash receipts and fee payments and in processing forms, counting money, preparing reports and making deposits.


Hours:

Parttime role requiring three 4hour shifts weekly.
Work Performed

Perform a variety of paying and receiving clerical duties while serving in a specified area receiving payments, writing receipts and cashing checks. Record funds from each cash source on a cash count sheet. Post in detail register totals, receipts, shortage, overage and refunds. Aid accounting personnel in cash receipt operation; prepare daily reports on shortages, overages and errors. Assist in maintaining office cash change funds. Compare cash, receipts and payments in balancing daily work. Audit and prepare daily report and charges for submission to keypunch. Prepare bank deposits and check balances. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
