We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Dispatcher at Outlaw Logistics, you will play a critical role in coordinating the daily operations of our fleet. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our drivers deliver packages in a timely and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service. You will communicate with drivers, monitor delivery routes, and adjust scheduling as needed to meet changing demands. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and manage daily delivery routes for drivers, ensuring all packages are delivered on time and in the most efficient manner.
  2. Maintain clear and timely communication with drivers, providing them with route updates and delivery instructions as needed.
  3. Monitor driver performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary to ensure consistent adherence to company policies and procedures. (You will be calling drivers when they receive camera alerts)
  4. Continuously evaluate routes and schedules to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize delivery efficiency.
  5. Track and analyze delivery metrics, providing reports and recommendations to management to improve overall operations.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to delivery issues, working to resolve problems and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  7. Collaborate with other team members and station operations to ensure seamless coordination of logistics operations.
  8. Drive a delivery truck and deliver packages when and if needed.
  9. Manage opening and /or closing set up.

Shift flexibility:

  1. Ability to work a flexible shift (including early mornings, late evenings and/or weekends)
  2. Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in dispatch, logistics, or a related field.
  3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel), cortex, etc.
  7. Familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns in the Philadelphia area.
