Department: Operations
Location: Principal Delivery Office
Job Type: Full-time (West Palm Beach)
Reports To: Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager
Schedule: Front Half Shift (Sunday-Wednesday) / Back Half Shift (Wednesday-Saturday)

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organized Amazon DSP Dispatcher to join our fast-paced delivery service team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the daily delivery operations, ensuring efficient and timely package deliveries to Amazon customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. If you thrive in a high-pressure, customer-focused setting and have a knack for logistics, this full-time position may be the perfect fit for you.


Key Requirement: Candidates must pass a trial period as a Delivery Associate, where they become proficient in delivery routes before qualifying for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Dispatch Management:
o Monitor and track the progress of deliveries throughout the day.
o Make real-time adjustments to routes based on changing conditions, traffic, and
customer requirements.
o Provide real-time updates to drivers on their performance and infractions
throughout the day, offering guidance for improvement.

2. Communication:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing instructions, support,
and information.
o Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, including Amazon
operations teams and drivers.

3. Performance Tracking:
o Monitor driver performance, including on-time deliveries, safety compliance, and
vehicle maintenance.

4. Coaching and Motivation:
o Coach and motivate drivers to improve their performance, including on-time
deliveries and customer service.

o Provide guidance and support to help drivers overcome challenges and meet
performance goals.

5. Flexibility with Changing Schedule:
o Be adaptable and open to changes in the dispatch schedule due to unforeseen
circumstances, emergencies, or operational needs.

6. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, driver hours, and performance
metrics.

o Generate regular reports to assess and improve delivery operations.

7. Problem Solving:
o Identify and address operational challenges and exceptions that may impact
delivery schedules.
o Collaborate with drivers to find solutions to unforeseen issues.

8. Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure that drivers adhere to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
o Address any safety or compliance concerns promptly.

9. Occasional Delivery Routes:
o Occasionally, candidates will be required to take delivery routes, including
driving a delivery vehicle to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.

10. Reliability and Punctuality:
o Be a dependable team member, consistently maintaining a good attendance record
and always being on time.
o Set a positive example for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic and
commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities.

11. Critical Thinking Skills:
o Must have good critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations, make

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications a plus.
