Job description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction and the ability to support multiple projects across various phases.

This is a fast-paced role for someone who can hit the ground running, stay organized under pressure, and effectively manage deadlines, budgets, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs using estimating software (PlanSwift or Bluebeam)

  • Organize and set up new projects within the company server for bidding
    ย 
  • Solicit, track, and follow up with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
    ย 
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
    ย 
  • Assist in managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously
    ย 
  • Attend site meetings, walkthroughs, and pre-bid meetings as needed
    ย 
  • Ensure all subcontractor bids are received accurately and on time
    ย 
  • Support project teams with scheduling, budgeting, and coordination tasks
    ย 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction (GC/CM preferred)

  • Proficiency in Excel and Procore is required
    ย 
  • Experience with PlanSwift and/or Bluebeam
    ย 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
