Job description

Ampersand Solutions Group, Inc. (AMPERSAND) has a requirement for a senior level analyst to provide property and supply chain management support to our Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) customer in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in Department of War (DoW) logistics, property management, and supply chain operations This role is pivotal in the execution of TSMO's property and supply chain requirements that are critical in supporting the U.S. Army's threat representation activities.
SCOPE
This role entails comprehensive lifecycle management, control, and strict accountability of all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Equipment (GFE) in support of critical DoW operations. The successful candidate will leverage government property accountability systems-specifically ASTS and DPAS-to track assets, manage hand receipts, and oversee the receipt, storage, and disposition of materials within warehouse environments. This individual will be responsible for executing rigorous semi-annual physical inventories to help ensure full compliance with relevant Army logistical regulations. Additionally, the successful candidate will be relied upon to generate precise audit documentation, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure seamless supply chain and property management operations.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Senior Supply Chain Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain meticulous control and status records for all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in accordance with government regulations.
  • Utilize and be proficient in government property accountability systems such as ASTS and DPAS to manage, track, and report on all assets.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports, hand receipts, and other required documentation for audits and program reviews.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports, manage data, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Leverage personal expertise in warehouse and supply chain management to oversee the receipt, storage, and disposition of government assets.
  • Lead and perform comprehensive semi-annual and ad-hoc inventories of all government property, ensuring full accountability and reconciling any discrepancies.

Senior Supply Chain Analyst Requirements and Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' direct experience supporting property management, supply chain, and logistics activities within DoW environments.
  • Proven, hands-on experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
  • Strong background in conducting physical inventories, managing hand receipts, and investigating property loss.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations such as AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-1.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, which may include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods during inventories, and operating standard warehouse material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Must have and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Desired
  • Military veteran with direct experience in US Army or other DoW environments.
  • Experience successfully migrating property data between different systems of record (e.g., from GCSS-Army to DPAS) or implementing new accountability software.
