Overview
The Value Management Team (VMT) within Publics Media plays an important role in the success of New Business and Agency accountability. This central team is responsible for pricing strategies and the assurance of achieving client value commitments. We are seeking a driven individual, with a healthy knowledge of media, to join our growing team and support in all operational responsibilities.
This position offers an unmatched opportunity to work closely with agency and activation leadership, and across all agency brands, to inform decision-making, improve operations, and drive performance. The ideal candidate has worked in a buying or planning capacity, has a strong affinity for data and Excel, and a proven record of problem solving.
Responsibilities
  • Rate Management and Pricing
    • Manage media rate reporting and requests via multiple data sources
    • Contribute to New Business pricing submissions, working with PMX and agency leads to determine pricing strategies for competitive pitch submissions
    • Focus on operational improvement, developing best practices and consistency for rate access and data management across all media channels
    • Support in global ad hoc requests or client direct requests pertaining to rates and value
  • Accountability and Validation
    • Manage operational tasks for successful delivery of savings commitment workstreams, including data collection and reporting timelines for all media types
    • Partner with agency teams in tracking client data against agreed upon savings commitments
    • Correspond with all parties to ensure timely alignment on feedback and savings results

Qualifications
  • 4+ Years of media agency experience; buying or planning preferred.
  • Fundamental understanding of MediaOcean (Prisma/OX).
  • Proficiency in Excel and data management.
  • Knowledge of 3rd party media market tools such as Kantar, SMI, SQAD a plus.
  • Experience in New Business or Media Auditing a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong interest in process improvement.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, must be a self-starter that can balance competing priorities.

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $129,987.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
