Job Title: Office Specialist
Duration: 12 month contract to hire
Location: Dallas, TX 75019
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

Dress Code: Casual. Jeans, Tshirts(no holes, no political statements, or profanity), No open toe shoes

Interview Type: Phone/Virtual (MS Teams)
The temp will be responsible for the following on a day-to-day basis:
Mail Handling
  • Open incoming mail promptly and carefully.
  • Remove all contents from envelopes without damaging documents.

Staple & Fastener Removal
  • Remove staples, paper clips, binder clips, or any other fasteners.
  • Ensure pages are separated and not stuck together.

Document Sorting
  • Organize documents by department or processing category.
  • Identify and separate multi-page documents appropriately.

Cover Sheet Application
  • Apply the correct barcode or cover sheet for each department.
  • Ensure cover sheets are placed in the correct position for scanner recognition.

Quality Check
  • Inspect documents for tears, folds, or sticky notes that may interfere with scanning.
  • Flatten pages and repair any damage if necessary.

Batch Preparation
  • Group documents into batches suitable for scanning.
  • Align pages neatly to avoid jams or misfeeds in the Kodak scanner.
