Document Specialist | $20.00 per hour | Monday–Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm | Fully On-site | 4+ months contract or longer

Job Summary:
The Document Specialist efficiently and accurately handles incoming mail and documents, preparing materials for imaging and storage in Laserfiche. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate departments or recipients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Open, review, and prepare documents for imaging by removing staples, paper clips, and other fasteners, and ensuring documents are organized in the correct order.
  • Scan and index documents into the Laserfiche document management system according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems to support efficient document storage and retrieval.
  • Retrieve and distribute documents upon request, ensuring only authorized individuals have access.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, security, and record retention standards while handling sensitive information.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of mail clerk distribution, preferably in office environment.
  • Prefer knowledge with Laserfiche scanning software
