About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Document Control Specialist to support our manufacturing and engineering teams. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate, compliant, and up-to-date documentation across the organization, ensuring that production, quality, and engineering teams always have access to the correct information.


Work Schedule:

  • Mon - Thru 10:00am to 7:30pm, and 10am to 6:30pm Fridays
  • 44 hour work week

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and control all documents related to manufacturing, engineering, and quality
    • (drawings, SOPs, work instructions, forms, revisions, etc.)
  • Issue, track, and update controlled documents in accordance with company procedures
  • Manage revision control and ensure only current versions are in circulation
  • Support engineering with drawing updates, redlines, and release packages
  • Coordinate document approvals and signatures
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external audit requirements
  • Assist with preparation for audits (internal and external)
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Communicate document changes to supervisors, leads, and production staff
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation and workflow


Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality environments (HVAC or mechanical manufacturing is an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with document control software is an asset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of revision control, quality systems, or ISO standards is an asset
