Job description

Airswift is seeking two intermediate Document Controllers to join one of our O&G clients in Calgary, AB on a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension.


About the Role

Reporting to the Team Lead, Document Control, the Document Control Analyst will provide information management and document control support on assigned projects


Responsibilities

  • Assisting with implementation and ongoing management of Document Control requirements on projects
  • Providing document control tool and process training to internal and external team members
  • Control the modification, distribution, and issuance of Controlled Engineering Records, Project Records and Vendor Records
  • Maintain the content and metadata in the Asset Information Management System (AIMS) and project SharePoint Online (SPO) reposit
  • Assist with the turnover tracking of document and data deliverables
  • Quality assurance on document and data deliverables
  • Assist with the handover of records to Operations



Qualifications

  • i5-10 years of document control experience in engineering and construction for oil and gas related projects
  • Experience with project execution in owner operator and EP environments, preferably Midstream
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering, supply chain, fabrication, vendor, and construction processes
  • Working knowledge of document control platforms preferably Adept, Octave (formerly Hexagon) SDx andSPO
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of information
  • Organized and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple assignments and meet established deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically advanced excel capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills written and oral
