Location: Hybrid position onsite in Dallas, TX. 2 days working onsite/3 days working remotely.
About the Role
As a Cisco Network Architect - SDA & Catalyst Center within Insight's Client Solutions team, you will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for guiding clients through the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of Cisco networking solutions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center), Software-Defined Access (SDA), and associated Cisco campus networking technologies. This role requires strong business acumen, communication skills, and consulting abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory and Support
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing expert guidance on infrastructure solutions that align with client business objectives.
  • Engage with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Support Insight sales teams as they engage customers to understand their business goals, challenges, and requirements.
  • Deliver technical guidance and best practices on solutions, products, and services.
  • Position solutions that lead to follow-on workshops, proofs of concept, pilots, strategy development, roadmap development, and deployment services.
  • Participate in the creation, review, and revision of Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting scoping documents.

Delivery of Technical Solutions
  • Develop and present high-level Cisco solution architectures and roadmaps that align with client objectives.
  • Lead client-facing workshops.
  • Deliver infrastructure assessments.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional sales and services teams to support the delivery of complex, customized solutions.
  • Recommend designs and optimizations for Cisco solutions within client environments, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Provide oversight for follow-on professional services engagements.
  • Provide feedback to Insight's engineering and sales teams regarding client needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and innovations while maintaining relevant certifications and accreditations.
  • Assist the sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through client meetings and presentations.

What We're Looking For
  • Live in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex or be willing to relocate.
  • At least 8 years of experience architecting, designing, implementing, and optimizing Cisco networking solutions.
  • At least 3 years of recent experience with Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) and Software-Defined Access (SDA).
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco products, services, and solutions, and their integration with other technologies and platforms.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Strong project management, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor others.
  • Relevant Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CCDE are preferred.
  • Ability to execute client-facing engagements with little to no oversight.
  • Ability to research and recommend strategic business development initiatives that positively impact Insight's business.
  • Strong desire to drive client success.
  • Willingness to work onsite at the client's office two days per week.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
