This is an on-site position located in Tallahassee, FL

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

This position requires professional work identifying and analyzing complex problems and data analysis. The position supports the leasing team by gathering, analyzing, and reporting public and private real estate data in the State of Florida. Gather and analyze data regarding commercial real estate, including rental, occupancy, absorption, and construction rates throughout the state. Prepare and develop documents for strategy recommendations based on data analysis of available real estate data and trends. Assist the department in the development and submission of land use plans for Florida Facilities Pool facilities. Coordinate access, acquisition, and disposition of State-owned lands managed by the department. Work with REDM staff to gather leasing data from state agencies and prepare annual reports as required by statute. Perform spatial analysis and prepare maps and other visuals for agency leadership. Conduct a high-level review and make recommendations to management on lease action requests.  Provide high quality customer service to agencies. Proactively track the status of unexpired leases. Provide recommendations to management to refine and improve work processes. Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Highly skilled at customer service.
Excellent data analysis skills.
Strong problem solver with knowledge of Florida statutes and Florida Administrative Code.
Ability to conduct fact-finding research, utilize problem-solving techniques, work independently, plan, organize and coordinate work assignments and communicate effectively.
Proficiency with a wide variety of desktop and web-based software such as Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Teams, ArcGIS, and PowerBI.
Ability to model behaviors of Accountability, Communication, Empowerment, Flexibility, Integrity, Teamwork

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years related professional experience. Experience in data analysis, information technology, or a real estate-related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Data analysis and reporting experience preferred.
