Daikin Applied is seeking a District Operations Manager for our Denver Service Office. Location: Denver, CO working both in-office and on customer job sites.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Technician Service team
  • Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reporting
  • Support sales through involvement in job quotation and estimation
  • Approve estimates for scope of work, labor hours and material content, assess profit risk of jobs, control material and labor costs, and provide feedback to the District Manager
  • Establish project timelines and meet with customers to communicate and coordinate project schedule
  • Manage projects, oversee ordering of equipment and material, and assure proper customer signoffs are secured
  • Oversee quotation of call-in work, transactional sales, and assign Technician work as needed to ensure that quotes are delivered to customers on a timely basis
  • Interface with customer base and establish effective working relationships to identify additional selling opportunities
  • Ensure maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled and inspections completed on time while providing input to Service Coordinators on scheduling activity of technicians
  • Work with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work on existing house accounts
  • Manage Technician job opportunities and lead customer care initiatives
  • Work with Account Managers and District Manager to resolve customer concerns, including customer visits
  • Provide weekly job status, revenue, and warranty recovery reports

Your Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6+ years work experience in the commercial HVAC industry or related field
  • 4+ years work experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role strongly preferred
  • Previous experience leading a team of technicians, with formal or informal supervisory responsibilities required
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC design, systems, applications, and energy saving solutions
  • Demonstrated success in strategically leading business units

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $89,000 - $150,000 in Colorado, plus a targeted $20,000 incentive plan. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
