Job Title: Warehouse/Distribution Operator Location: Indianapolis, IN Type: Contract Compensation: $18.25 - $21.45 (Based on experience) Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 5:45 am โ€“ 6 pm Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Warehouse/Distribution Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive incoming materials and finished goods, verifying quantities against shipping documentation.
  • Unload trucks and properly store inventory within the warehouse.
  • Enter receipts and inventory transactions into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.
  • Process materials for disposal or destruction in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies and applicable safety regulations, including OSHA requirements.
  • Support warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Report safety concerns, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain punctual attendance and reliability for all scheduled shifts.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus.
