We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Customer Service Representative to support warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the shipping and receiving process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in shipping and receiving, and proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipments, invoices, inventory, and related issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Process customer orders and maintain accurate records
  • Generate stock and inventory reports to verify product availability
  • Prepare shipping documentation and customer work orders
  • Coordinate rush and special shipping requests with operations and traffic departments
  • Follow up with internal departments to ensure customer service standards are met
  • Verify invoices and ensure accurate account billing
  • Provide shipment tracking and tracing information to customers
  • Maintain damage records and backorder logs
  • Communicate customer concerns or service issues to management
  • Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations and customers regarding account activity and invoicing
  • Maintain organized files and documentation related to customer orders
  • Update and maintain process and procedure documentation for assigned accounts
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving required
