Route Delivery Driver
Starting Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday | Early Morning Start | Overtime

Layman Distributing, based out of Salem, VA is looking for dependable, customer-focused Route Delivery Drivers in the Eden, NC area to join our team! Our drivers are more than just delivery professionals — they are the face of Layman to our customers. If you're someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in your work, and values great customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product orders accurately and on time to our primary customers: convenience stores
  • Represent Layman Distributing with professionalism and courtesy at every stop
  • Handle delivery paperwork, process occasional returns, and operate our handheld Driver App
  • Communicate clearly with customers and provide exceptional service
  • In some instances, cash collection will be a requirement at time of delivery (COD Customers Only)
  • Assist with unloading and verifying deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your delivery vehicle
  • Follow all DOT and company safety regulations

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working early mornings and overtime as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
