Trinity Distributing is a roofing material distribution company serving professional roofing contractors throughout Northern California. We pride ourselves on safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. Our drivers are an essential part of our team, ensuring materials are delivered accurately, safely, and on time.

Position Summary

Trinity Distributing is seeking an experienced CDL Driver to join our growing team. This position involves transporting roofing materials to residential and commercial job sites, safely unloading materials, and operating rooftop delivery equipment.

Safety is our highest priority. We maintain a 100% tie-off policy anytime employees are working on a roof, and all team members are expected to strictly follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial vehicles.
  • Deliver roofing materials to customer job sites throughout Northern California.
  • Load and unload roofing materials using forklifts, conveyor trucks, boom equipment, and other delivery equipment.
  • Assist with placing materials on rooftops while following all fall protection requirements.
  • Follow Trinity Distributing's 100% tie-off policy whenever working on a roof.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after each trip and report maintenance concerns.
  • Secure all loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards.
  • Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Provide outstanding customer service at each delivery location.
  • Work safely and efficiently alongside warehouse and delivery personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record
  • Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card)
  • Ability to safely operate delivery equipment and commercial vehicles
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance when necessary
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, bend, climb, push, and pull throughout the workday
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to climb ladders and safely work at heights while utilizing required fall protection equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Roofing material delivery experience
