Job Summary
This position provides administrative academic support for the College of Allied Health Sciences programs. Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, provide guidance to the Academic and Student Affairs support team. Ensure all educational activities within the College of Allied Health Sciences are conducted efficiently, meet compliance requirements and are aligned with the college's goals in educational excellence. Provide administrative support to Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to include the oversight of the Associate's Dean's calendar.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
  • Provide administrative support to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Alpha Eta Society, CAHS Background Check Committee, and Faculty Council. Duties to include calendar management, scheduling meetings, preparation of meeting agendas and minutes, etc.
  • Under the direction of Alpha Eta Officers, facilitate Alpha Eta Society membership dues.
  • Collection of dues, prepare bank deposits, bank reconciliation, review with Alpha Eta Officers to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Provide administrative support for Deans office as needed to include answering phones, greeting visitors etc.

STUDENT DATA MANAGEMENT:
  • Work collaboratively with admissions, academic and student affairs, and institutional effectiveness to maintain student data for all CAHS academic programs.
  • Prepare statistical analyses and reports for use by the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, program directors, administrators, and external customers.
  • As directed by the Assoc. Dean of Academic Affairs, develop reports and analyze data for all academic programs within CAHS: work with various databases and software to track student/program related information; maintain complete filing system for programmatic documents.
  • Provide administrative support in development and submission of new program proposals.

STUDENT RECRUITMENT:
  • In partnership with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, implement recruitment efforts for all CAHS academic programs.
  • Execute all aspects of the recruitment plan including participating in recruitment events, planning and coordination of student recruitment activities as well as facilitating communication between the college and various institutional offices.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT:
  • Coordinate and provide support for students and faculty functions within the CAHS to include assemblies, student and faculty orientation
  • Under the oversight of the Associate Dean and Alpha Eta, facilitate the processes for student awards and scholarships.
  • Prepare and process CAHS Student Liability annual payment.

SUPPORT ACCREDITATION PROCESS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF POLICIES:
  • Work with Associate Dean and administrators to support the accreditation process for all CAHS academic programs and AU.
  • Serve as a resource for deans, chairs, and faculty within CAHS to implement policies and procedures as it relates to the academic mission.

OTHER:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide back-up coverage for clinical contracts to include clinical education and memorandums of understanding.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of one year of experience in administrative support role.

KNOWLEDGE
