Executive Assistant- Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology (DEEPT)

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join Disney's Employee Relations team, supporting key businesses including Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product & Technology (DEEPT), Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Corporate Marketing, and International. Our team plays a critical role in shaping a consistent and positive employee experience by partnering with employees and leaders during key moments throughout the employment lifecycle. What You Will Do

In this role, you will provide critical administrative and operational support to Employee Relations leaders, enabling the team to deliver exceptional service and strategic guidance across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that impacts employees around the world while supporting a team dedicated to maintaining a fair, respectful, and positive workplace.

The Executive Assistant will support the Vice President, and Directors of Employee Relations and will be responsible for the administrative and executive support for this team and organization.

The right candidate for this role is highly resilient, adaptable, and resourceful, with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction. They possess a strong attention to detail, agility, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage complex and highly dynamic calendars across multiple time zones, balancing competing priorities, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining key recurring engagements, and anticipating scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate logistics for virtual, onsite, and offsite meetings and events, including scheduling, invitations, audiovisual support, presentation materials, stakeholder communications, and visitor accommodations.
  • Manage all aspects of domestic and international business travel, including itineraries, logistics, meeting coordination, and executive support while traveling.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and communication materials to support executive and team initiatives.
  • Organize and track key projects, priorities, and deadlines, proactively identifying upcoming needs, potential gaps, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Order supplies and process invoices and goods receipts.
  • Provide back-up support to other assistants across the organization.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • At least two (2) years of experience supporting an executive in an administrative role or administrative experience in a corporate environment
  • Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High standards of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes positively to the broader organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within The Walt Disney Company or in a highly matrixed, global media or entertainment organization.
  • Working knowledge of Disney policies, procedures, compliance, and regulations related to travel and expenses.
  • Working knowledge of programs such as SAP, COUPA, Airtable, Concur, Loop, and AI platforms

Education

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $65,300.00 to $87,500.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
