Job description

TEKsystems is currently searching for qualified nationally Certified Pharmacy Technicians to fill openings for an Adherence Care Navigator 2 role. This is a remote role that is working in a high-volume outbound call center environment, responsible for 80-100 outbound calls per shift. Must have an active CPhT certification and experience making medication adherence calls.

Job Description

  • Seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT) to serve as Adherence Care Navigators in a high-volume, remote outbound call center environment. This is not a retail pharmacy role — candidates must be comfortable conducting 80–100 structured outbound calls per day to Medicare members, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
  • The primary focus of this role is identifying and resolving medication adherence barriers for patients managing chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and asthma. Navigators follow structured call guides, provide patient education within defined scope, coordinate with pharmacies and providers as needed, and document all interactions in real time across multiple systems.
  • Success in this role requires strong verbal communication, active listening, empathy, and the ability to maintain quality and professionalism in a metrics-driven environment. Candidates must be self-directed, comfortable working remotely, and committed to HIPAA compliance and documentation accuracy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CPhT (PTCB) - MUST HAVE ACTIVE CPhT CERTIFICATION & BEING NATIONALLY CERTIFIED
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmacy or related patient interaction experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google - ability to learn new technology
  • 2-5 years experience with pharmacy and heavy outbound calls
  • Medicare/managed care experience preferred
  • Must be able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Bilingual a plus: Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, Cantonese, and Vietnamese (must be proficient in English AND second language)

Regular Shift Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8-hour shift times range between the hours of 8:00AM-8:00PM CST (e.g. 8-4:30pm, 8:30-5pm, 9-5:30pm, 9:30-6pm,10-6:30pm CST, etc.) 

Training Schedule (first week): Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM CST

Placement Type: Contract – guaranteed through the end of the year

Fully Remote: equipment is provided – MUST be able to meet all work-from-home requirements

  • Must be able to hardwire connect directly into router/modem for internet (NO SATELLITE OR 5G INTERNET)
  • Must meet internet speed requirements: 50 Mbps download speed & 10 Mbps upload speed
  • Must have a quiet, distraction free work-space to setup equipment and maintain working from home

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
