Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Full-Stack Software Developer to help build, maintain, and scale systems that operate across multiple entities in the Social Security Disability and Medicare space.

This role involves working with medical records, AI technologies, automated data pipelines, web scrapers, and secure web applications. You will help design and deploy containerized, scalable services in a distributed cloud environment while ensuring strong security, performance, and reliability standards.

What You'll Do

-Develop and maintain modern web applications using Next.js, React, and other modern web frameworks

-Build and support both frontend and backend systems

-Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs

-Develop and maintain automated data processing pipelines

-Implement and manage messaging queue systems for distributed processing

-Configure, deploy, and maintain containerized, scalable services (Docker-based services in cloud environments)

-Work with and/or configure Model Context Protocol (MCP) environments

-Integrate authentication providers such as Auth0 and other identity platforms

-Design, optimize, and manage relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

-Work with structured and unstructured medical records and healthcare-related data
-Develop and maintain secure web scrapers and automation systems
-Implement and integrate AI-driven features and modern AI technologies

-Maintain system security, compliance standards, and infrastructure integrity

-Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production systems

Work Schedule

-Standard working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with reasonable flexibility.
-This role will occasionally require after-hours work for production deployments, maintenance, or urgent system issues.

-We aim to plan deployments thoughtfully and minimize disruption, but reliability and security of our systems are a priority.

Required Skills & Experience

-3-5 years minimum experience in web application development (frontend and backend)

-Strong experience with Next.js, React, or similar modern frontend frameworks

-Solid full-stack development experience

-Experience building and consuming REST APIs

-Experience designing or maintaining automated data pipelines

-Experience working with messaging queues (e.g., SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar systems)

-Experience configuring and deploying containerized applications

-Database experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL

-Experience integrating authentication providers (Auth0 or similar)

-Understanding of secure development practices and production system maintenance

-Experience working in distributed or multi-entity system environments

Education

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

-Equivalent practical experience will be considered

-Technical certifications or completion of a reputable coding bootcamp are a plus

-Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including:

Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000 DOE

Compensation is based on experience, technical depth, and architectural ownership capacity.
