Job description

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Job Coach at Empower Inclusion. The Job Coach will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals with disabilities in their employment journey. Day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Visiting client work sites in-person to provide real-time, on-the-job support.
  • Guide clients in recognizing and refining their job-related skills.
  • Support clients with requesting accommodations and understanding their workplace responsibilities.
  • Interact with client supervisors, managers, and coworkers to build natural supports.
  • Support clients with receiving and responding to performance feedback
  • Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to address the needs of clients
  • Write and submit timely reports in compliance with company and state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in job coaching and career counseling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to provide effective coaching and guidance
  • Empathy and understanding of disabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and their support networks
  • Experience in the disability services or social work field is a plus
