Job description

SUMMARY
The Security Coordinator, reporting directly to the Director Corporate Security amp; Business Continuity, is responsible for overseeing the coordination, tracking, and follow-up of ESD security processing to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA). The role also supports the administration and oversight of the organization's alarm and access control systems. Key responsibilities include generating reports that assist the Security Director in monitoring ticket completion, uptime, and related performance metrics. The Security Coordinator also provides support for training, customer support, emergency preparedness, and business continuity initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Security Operations amp; Access Control Administration: Includes daily alarm audits, Netwatch report reviews, camera health checks, video retrieval, security ticket management, access badge processing, alarm user administration, Safe Banker and TRACcess updates, and oversight of parking lot and exterior security conditions.
  • Business Continuity amp; Emergency Preparedness:
  • Includes performing BCP updates, maintaining emergency supply inventories, supporting emergency drills and exercises, assisting with BCP/security training initiatives, maintaining Watch Duty emergency mapping information, and supporting emergency response activities.
  • Administrative Support amp; Communication: Includes responding to emails, Teams messages, and calls, supporting visitor management, answering security and business continuity questions, coordinating communication between departments and vendors, and handling day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Branch amp; Facility Support / Audits:
  • Includes branch travel and onsite support, coordinating quarterly lighting surveys, monthly alarm testing validation, branch security audits, walkthroughs, inspections, and operational readiness reviews.
  • Vendor Coordination, Relationship Management amp; Program Support:
  • Includes managing vendor ticket visibility and escalation processes, maintaining relationships with local law enforcement and emergency management agencies, supporting investigations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Corporate Security and Business Continuity programs.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School Diploma required.
  • Some college preferred in a security, criminal justice, or safety related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in security/safety operations, incident management, business continuity, or a related field.
  • Minimal knowledge of physical security related items alarms, access control, video management systems
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
